Olde Town Engineering Company, PC has the experience and the techincal capability to team with General Contractors for Building Construction Projects.
During the Summer of 2005, we worked in a design-build capacity with local contractors on three major building renovation projects. In 2006 we continued with three more design-build projects consisting of an addtion to an existing church, the design of a pre-engineered building/office and one laboratory fit-out of an exisitng building.

Structural design services for construction of a 21,000 SF (approx.) single-story, pre-engineered building with vehicle bays, warehouse, office and retail sales space. Construction cost: $2.5 million

Investigation, design development and construction documents for renovation of a 36,300 SF, single-story pre-engineered building for use as a recycling center for construction debris. Cost of construction: $4 million

Repair details for a 25,000 SF fire-damaged metal structure that were cost effective and could be fabricated to meet a short construction schedule. New structural framing design, including replacement roof deck, purlin system & new hot-rolled structural steel bents. Estimated cost of repairs: $300,000

Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant Washington, DC
Worked with prime contractor and sub-contractors for temporary support sytems during the renovation work. Tasks also included the development of alternative structural designs as well as permanent structures.

Investigation of the existing 14-year old structure and design services for renovation of the 45,000 SF building which includes support for the new HVAC design, framing of the exterior entrance upgrade and strengthening of existing structural deficiencies.

Design of temporary support systrems to facilitate the demolition and construction for the recent (2005) building renovation and addition. Services required extensive field work to design for exisitng site conditions.
